Guilin

After our amazing Cruise down the Yangzi(wink wink:) we took the train to Guilin! This city has less than 800,000 people, so it is considered very TINY in China! Guilin had a really chilled atmosphere and we stayed at a really nice hostel called Wada. We spent 4 days walking around the city, taking pictures of the Li River and the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. On our first day in Guilin it was very hot and we decided we had arrived to the warmth, so it was time to forward our "cold" gear to Argentina. We boxed our stuff up and shipped it on a slow boat from China! It should be there in about 3 months.

Little did we know that the weather was about to turn for the worse and get really cold! What luck!?!? The following days in Guilin it rained and the temperature dropped significantly. Luckily I did keep my jacket and long sleeve shirt, Agustin however was left with only shorts!

We got many strange looks in our Spring clothing!

We really enjoyed our stay in Guilin and it revitalized us for the rest of our trip in China!
