Battambang is a nice city located on the Stung Sangker river. We hired a tuk tuk for the day and started our journey around Battambang at 7am.

These 3 children insisted on following us to this temple, and they fanned us the whole way....they were absolutely adorable, and working for tips. Made it to the top- 359 steps! (mind you it is ridiculously HOT out!) WAT Banan

These were caves that the Khmer Rouge used to push innocent people off to their deaths. Their skulls are still down there- Buddha! Funniest quote, our tour guide said......"Oh my Buddha!!" while telling us a story(read it like- Oh MY GOD!) Wild monkeys!
This monkey stole these little kids crackers, it was funny to see, but then we realized that food was probably the only food the children get all day. They soon got out a sling shot and got their crackers back! Phnom Sampeau
