Sen Monorom - Cambodia

We decided to go to Mondulkiri province, the road less traveled and we are so glad we did! It took about 9 hours by bus to get there through dirt roads, we were surprised the bus could make it. We arrived to an unexpected climate change, the weather was cool and breezy. On our first night walking around the village we met some school children and their teacher invited us to come visit their class the following day. We spent our 3 days exploring the region on foot and bike(Agustin did a great job as the moto driver!!)

Our hotel, it was $5/ night, and that included satellite TV!
There is our place....the far right one!

Our room!

The children we met our first night, this is their classroom. They gather Monday-Saturday from 5pm-7pm to learn English.

The driver for the day! The "road" was made of red dirt and we crossed many makeshift bridges.

A really cool guest house on the side of a mountain-

The really cool guest house, we didn't stay there......but it was nice to visit!

Our favorite place to eat in Sen Monorom, this was the cook and the waiter!
