We boarded this pretty bus and headed North to Vang Vieng. Vang Vieng is a small town where tubing down the river is the highlight. We heard it was a party town, but I really didn't know what to expect!

Ok, so you rent a tube and they give you a ride to the start of the river....its 10:30am when we arrived to the start of the river which happens to be a bar! We are sober and these people are not...... we have no idea what time they arrived, but it was well before us!
So, all along the river there are make shift bars that have popped up. They throw you a rope to pull you in and help you off your tube. Each bar is loud with different kinds of music and they all have some sort of rope swing or slide that is crazy dangerous, but of course fun! If the current doesnt allow you to stop at one bar, no worries.....the next bar is 40 feet away!
Whoop whoop! We were the only people at this bar!.....its about noon-
A bucket of vodka and redbull!

Now the hard part.....the bars ended at mile 1 and there were 2 more miles to go before returning our tubes at the deadline of 6pm. We left the last bar at 3pm.....made it back at 5:20pm........that was hard work!

This looks like a great day. Totally makes a traditional pub crawl seem so lame when you can tube and bar hop!
